Event: Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500

Venue: Martinsville Speedway (Ridgeway, Virginia)

Format: Three Stages - Stages End: Lap 130, 260, 500

Date/Broadcast: Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. ET on FS1

On Wednesday, Martinsville Speedway will host the NASCAR Cup Series under the lights for the first time and Go Fas Racing driver Corey LaJoie will wheel another unique Keen Parts paint scheme for the 500-lap event.

The wrap that will adorn LaJoie's No. 32 Ford replicates a photo of LaJoie wearing a facemask similar to one that many are wearing to protect themselves from the coronavirus outbreak. LaJoie's face occupies the hood and the nose of the GFR Ford, while his hair flows down the sides of the car, similar to the scheme that LaJoie ran in his first race with the Go Fas team in 2019.

Keen Parts, a Corvette parts supplier, extends their appreciation to the frontline heroes who continue to work tirelessly during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and understands the importance of wearing a mask.

The company also expressed its gratitude for frontline heroes across the country at the second Darlington event last month, running a special "Thank a Hero" paint scheme.

The 263-mile event at "The Paperclip" will be the second race for the Ohio-based company as a primary sponsor this season. LaJoie earned his best finish at the track last fall, finishing 18th, also in a Keen Parts-sponsored Ford.

Tune in to the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. ET on FS1.

LaJoie on the upcoming race weekend:

"As a team we're really excited to return to a short track like Martinsville. We've been looking forward to this race since NASCAR returned to action last month. I think we'll have a good Keen Parts Ford, we ran well there last fall and [Crew Chief] Ryan Sparks has been really excited to head there for a few months now. I've got to give Tom and TJ Keen credit as well, they keep coming out with these schemes and it keeps the fans excited. Hopefully we can give the 'facecar' another solid run this weekend at the paperclip for Keen Parts!"

LaJoie's Cup history at Martinsville Speedway:
Starts: 4
Best Finish: 18th (2019)
Average Start: 34.8
Average Finish: 28th

Looking back on the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500:
The Built Bar team and driver Corey LaJoie raced from the back of the field to finish 27th at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a 500-mile journey. He swiftly worked his way up to 27th by the competition caution on lap 25, when requested adjustments to tighten the No. 32 Ford. Over the remaining laps of stage one, LaJoie continued to battle a loose-handling condition.

After finishing the first segment in the 28th position, crew chief Ryan Sparks detailed an extensive list of adjustments to be made at the stage-break - including four tires and fuel - to kick off stage two. Despite the big swing at adjustments, the 28-year-old driver again reported loose conditions as the run ensued. Sparks called LaJoie back to pit road for fresh tires and fuel as the laps dwindled in stage two. Racing in 28th with 25 laps to go in the segment, the Built Bar driver was able to gain a few spots to finish stage two in the 25th position.

Quick work by the No. 32 pit crew allowed LaJoie to restart 23rd for the final stage of the 325-lap event. LaJoie slipped back to 27th with 85 laps to go, with one final scheduled pit stop still to come. He returned to the track in 27th, and remained in that position until the checkered flag flew. The result is LaJoie's best finish in three starts at the 1.5-mile Hampton, Georgia track.
