Corey LaJoie and the No. 32 Go Fas Racing team are off to a strong start this season with a top-10 in the Daytona 500 and a solid 16th-place effort last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This weekend LaJoie will make his third start at Auto Club Speedway as NASCAR Cup Series teams make a stop in Fontana, California for the second race of the 'West Coast Swing' and the third race of the season.

Pala Casino Resort & Spa will be on-board the Roush Yates-powered No. 32 for the first of two races this year.

Pala Casino Spa & Resort includes a Las Vegas-style casino with 2,000+ slot machines, 84 table games, eight poker tables and a 15,000-square-foot smoke-free casino area; a 507-room hotel; five swimming pools with two hot tubs and 14 luxury cabanas; a 10,000-square-foot, full-service spa and salon that features 17 treatment rooms, two cabanas and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Pala also offers 10 restaurants and 40,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. Pala Casino Spa & Resort is an AAA Four-Diamond Award winner for 15 consecutive years.

Fans of GFR can view the No. 32 Ford Mustang show car on display inside the casino during the Auto Club 400 race weekend.

Pala Casino Resort & Spa and GFR will reunite for the season-finale at Phoenix Raceway in November.

LaJoie on the upcoming weekend:
"We've obviously had a great start to the season with a top-10 at Daytona and a top-20 in Vegas. Our new Crew Chief Ryan Sparks has done a great job on the box and we've already made a statement just two races into the season. The West Coast swing is always a blast and it got even better this year with Pala Casino coming on board. We're really excited to stay at their amazing resort and I'm sure the team will enjoy every bit of their stay. I'm hoping we can continue our positive start to the season this weekend at a really fun track in Auto Club Speedway."

LaJoie's history at Las Vegas:

Best Finish: 30th (2017)
Average Start: 30th
Average Finish: 30.5

Last Weekend at Las Vegas:
For the second week in a row, rain plagued the action at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, canceling NASCAR Cup Series qualifying. With the lineup being set based on the NASCAR Rule Book, LaJoie started the 400-mile contest from 30th. The third generation driver wasted minimal time working his way forward as he entered the top-25 in the opening laps. Early on, LaJoie relayed that the balance of the No. 32 was very good and settled into 29th after several cautions before moving up to 28th, where he would finish Stage One.

LaJoie got the free pass at the stage break and crew chief Ryan Sparks called the 28-year-old to pit road for an air pressure and chassis adjustment. As lap 108 cycled, LaJoie continued to express that he was happy with the handling of the car. LaJoie returned to pit road with less than 25 laps remaining in Stage Two for tires and fuel. A caution for the No. 95 kept the No. 32 from going an additional lap down with just one lap to go in the stage. LaJoie took the wave-around to return to the lead lap for the restart of the final stage, but on older tires.

Fortunately, in the early laps of Stage Three, a caution for the No. 38 allowed the Schluter Systems Mustang to pit without losing a lap for fresh tires, fuel and adjustments. With less than 40 laps to go, the Charlotte, NC native reached the 21st position. Sparks elected to make one final stop when a yellow flag flew for the No. 6, taking four tires and fuel for the sprint to the finish. At the checkered flag, LaJoie crossed the line in 16th.
